Honouring The Touch
We have a philosophy here, and it is simple: touch is precious, and it is honoured. Everything else is how.
Consent
Yes means yes, and only yes — said plainly, every time, and free to change at any moment. Nothing is owed to anybody. An Invitation is an invitation; it is never an obligation, and a person may leave any conversation, any evening and any arrangement without a reason.
Respect
Everyone here chose to come. Meet them the way you would want to be met — as an adult with a life, a body that is theirs, and a reason for being here. Nobody is better than anybody else, and what one person wants is not better than what another person wants. And touch here is touch: warmth, closeness, being held. Anything more is yours to decide between you, away from here, and never something this place is for.
Kindness
Kindness is the whole tone of this place. Say what you mean, kindly. If an Invitation is not for you, leave it gently; if you decline somebody, decline them quietly. If a plan changes, tell the person it changes for.
Privacy
Nobody sees your address. Nobody can write to you until you say so. What a member shows you — their photograph, their words, where they live, what they want — is theirs. Never share it, screenshot it, or repeat it outside the conversation it was said in. Ever.
Discretion
Some people here are not free to be found. Treat every member as though that were true of them. Do not name a member to anybody, and do not try to find out more about somebody than they have chosen to tell you.
Your Own Judgement
Touch of Class is for people who are 18 or over, and we check. We do not vet anybody beyond that — a member is an adult who paid to be here and made this promise. So use your own judgement about who you meet and where: meet in public first, tell somebody you trust where you are going, and leave the moment anything feels wrong. Your safety comes before anybody’s feelings, including ours.
When Somebody Forgets This
Block them — it takes one press, and nothing tells them. Then write to us. A member who breaks this promise loses their membership, and we do not refund it.
You make this promise when you join. It is the door — and it is what keeps touch honoured for everyone here.
